Simple exterior void design prolongs bushing life and optimizes ride quality.

SwingAlign™

The industry's fastest and most convenient axle alignment system requiring no replacement parts or disassembly. Axle alignment is achieved by direct adjustment of the lead screw, requiring less than 250 ft. lbs. (340Nm) of torque.

CBX25 245/Trailing Arm Design

The trailing arm design combines casting strength with fabrication flexibility to produce an efficient high-strength manufactured component. The design lowers overall system weight, without sacrificing strength or beam integrity. The 24.5˝ length provides a broader range of suspension applications. Designed for rear dump, tanker, specialty and flatbed applications this suspension is one of the lightest weight systems available.

The CBX25 standard configuration features a SAF X-Series 5.75˝ diameter 11 mm wall axle with 16.5' x 7' extended life brake linings and industry standard tapered spindles.

Drum Brake Axle

The SAF CBX25 standard configuration features a SAF X-Series 146 mm diameter 11mm wall axle with 419 mm x 203 mm extended life brake linings and industry standard tapered spindles. Optional parallel spindles available.

Lightweight Suspension Beam Design

Reduced beam weight without compromising beam strength or integrity. This is accomplished through welding a fabricated tail section to a cast beam.

Optimized Axle Solutions

The SAF X-Series 146 mm axle with standard 11 mm wall provides the optimal balance of strength and weight. Equipped with standard drum brakes or optional INTEGRAL™ disc brakes.

PosiLift

Light, durable and easy to install, SAF’s PosiLift Axle Lift System allows operators to easily increase payload with just the flip of a switch. In addition to increased payload capacity, liftable axles also provide an opportunity to extend tire life, improve operational versatility and fuel efficiency, as well as enhancing trailer maneuverability.
